Loading the CD-ROM Drive

Press	the unload			button	to open the tray. Place the disc, with	the	prin
from	the	tray, into the			tray. Slip out the bottom tabs to hold	the	disc
gently on		the	load/unload		button. The drive automatically pulls the	tray	int
and	prepares		the	disc	for reading.

Cleaning

the

CD-ROM

This

CD-ROM

drive has an

internal

head-cleaning

mechanism,

and

therefore

doe

not require an external cleaning device. The

internal

cleaning

mechanism

clea

head every time the tray is operated.

Always handle

discs carefully by the edges

to

avoid

leaving

fingerprints

the

disc. This helps the disc to maintain good readability. Discs can be

soft,

lint–free cloth or lens tissue. Always

wipe

in

a

straight

line

from

the

outer rim.
