Chapter 4. System Management Services

The System Management Services provides a way to view information ab computer and perform tasks such as setting passwords and changing d urations.

If you are using a graphical display as your system console, u System Management Services below.

If you are using an ASCII display as your system console, see “T Management Services” on page 4-24.

Graphical System Management Services

To start the Open Firmware command line or graphical System Management vices, turn on or restart the computer.

After the logo is displayed, initialization icons appear across the screen.

After the System Management Services starts, the following screen app

You may also press F8 to enter the Open Firmware commandOK>line and g prompt.
