Intermate1xx parameters can be edited with SNMP manage- ment program after the Private MIB has been added to the MIB database.

To add the Private MIB

1Start HP OpenView and choose the connection you wish to work with.

2In the main screen choose the “Control > SNMP Manager. > Manage Database.”. This opens the Manage Database window.

3Choose the file named rfc1213.mib in the list of available MIB files and press the “Add->” button.

4Add the Private MIB file by pressing the “Import...” button. Locate and choose the file and press the “OK” button.

5Back in the Manage Database window select the Private MIB file and click the “Add->” button.

6Click the “Close” button.
