OS/2 2.x and OS/2 Warp: LPR (ASCII data, e.g. PCL and Postscript)

bLPD printer = queue name. Type in one of the queue names defined in the print server. You can use one of the pre-configured LPR queues, all of which will direct the output to Logical Printer 0.

PAR_A

ASCII transfer (LF => LF-CR conversion).

PAR_B

Binary transfer, no conversion.

PAR_AF

Same as ASCII transfer but with Form Feed.

PAR_BF

Same as binary but with Form Feed.

Or you can define your own name (max 8 characters) for any one of the eight configurable queues and associate the desired characteristics as explained in “LPR Print Queues (LPD Protocol)” [page 163].
