9). To further verify connectivity either send a test file to printer via RIP or from the EFPU (Encad File Print Utility). Launch EFPU (if previously loaded) or load EFPU (from User System CD, select Software Utilities, located EFPU utility and load). Select port previously configured (normally identified by a default IP address the first time loaded). Select the printer test file (link and open an xxxxxx.rtl file from System CD images subfolder) and select ‘PRINT’. Printer should start printing within 30 seconds if sending
NOTE: To function, the EFPU utility may require a LPT port be available. Add a printer port and assign to a local LPT port if necessary.
