Making a copy

1Load paper.

2Load an original document facedown in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF).

3From the control panel, press Copy Mode.

4Press Start Color or Start Black.

If you want to change a setting

1From the control panel, press .

2Press or repeatedly until the menu item you want appears, and then press .

3Press or repeatedly until the submenu item or the setting you want appears, and then press .

4To go into additional submenus and settings, repeat as needed.

5If needed, press repeatedly to return to the previous menus and make other setting selections.

6Press Start Color or Start Black.

Copying photos

1Load photo paper with the glossy or printable side facing you. (If you are not sure which side is the printable side, see the instructions that came with the paper.)

2Load the photo facedown in the center of the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), and adjust the ADF paper guides to rest against the edges of the photo.

3From the control panel, press Copy Mode.

4Press .

5Press or repeatedly until Quality appears.

6Press .

7Press or repeatedly until Photo appears.

8Press .

9Press or repeatedly until Paper Setup appears.

10Press .

11Press or repeatedly until Paper Size appears.

12Press .

13Press or repeatedly until the size you want appears.
