Clearing jams

If the jammed media is caught entering the standard tray (Tray 1), the operator panel indicates a 230.xx Paper Jam.

1Remove the standard tray.

2Pull the jammed media down and out.

3Install the standard tray.

The jammed media is caught as shown in the standard tray (Tray 1). The operator panel indicates a 200.xx Paper Jam or a 230.xx Paper Jam.

1Remove the standard tray.

2Pull the jammed media straight up.

Note: If the media is not visible in this area, pull the tray out completely. Also, look behind the upper and lower doors for the jammed media.

3Install the standard tray.
