Maintaining the printer

Removing the fuser for long-term storage

If the printer will be turned off for a month or longer, remove the fuser and store it in a clean and convenient place.

CAUTION: The fuser and the inside of the printer near the fuser may be hot. Wait for the fuser to cool before removing it.

1Turn the printer off.

2Grasp the handhold.

3Open the upper door.
