Adjusting copy quality

1Load paper.

2Load the original document faceup into the ADF or facedown on the scanner glass.

3From the printer control panel, navigate to: Making a copy lighter or darker > Copy > OK > Quality

4Press the left or right arrow button to set the copy quality.

5From the Copy menu, select Content Type.

6Press the left or right arrow button to scroll to the type that describes the original document, and then press OK .

7From the Copy menu, select Content Source.

8Press the left or right arrow button to scroll to the option that describes how the original document was produced, and then press OK .

9Press  > Copy > OK > Darkness.

Making a copy lighter or darker

1Load paper.

2Load the original document faceup into the ADF or facedown on the scanner glass.

3From the printer control panel, navigate to:

Collating copies using the printer control panel > Copy > OK > Darkness

4Press the left or right arrow button to adjust the darkness of your prints.

Pressing the left arrow button makes the copy lighter.

Pressing the right arrow button makes the copy darker.

5Press Manual background.

Collating copies using the printer control panel

If you print multiple copies of a document, then you can choose to print each copy as a set (collated) or to print the copies as groups of pages (not collated).
