Setting Up the Client Computer

1	Right-click Start and select Explorer.
2	Open your network folder in the left column.
3	Click the shared name.
4	For Windows 2000, from the Start menu, select Settings
	and Printers.	3
	For Windows XP, from the Start menu, select Printers and

Faxes.

For Windows Vista, select Control Panel Hardware and SoundPrinters.

5Double-click your printer icon.

6From the Printer menu, select Properties.

7Press the Ports tab and click Add Port.

8Select Local Port and click New Port.

9Fill in the Enter a port name field and enter the shared name.

10Click OK and click Close.

11Click Apply and click OK.
