REGULATORY INFORMATION
1. Regulatory Requirements
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has established rules t hat permit the NEAX1000 IVS to b e direct-
ly connected to the telephone network. A jack is provided on party lines or coin lines.
The telephone company may make changes in its technical operations and procedures. If such changes affect the
compatibility or use of the NEAX1000 IVS, the telephone company must provide adequate notice of the changes.
This equipment complies with the requirements in Part 15 of FCC Rules for a Clas s A comput ing d e vice . Opera tion
of this equipment in a residential area may cause unacceptable interference to radio and TV reception requiring the
operator to take whatever steps are necessary to correct this interference.

This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and if
not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause in-
