Key Ring Override

		Using Key Ring Override	In these instructions:
		Using Key Ring Override	[Super Display Soft Key]
			[Keyset Soft Key]

To assign a Ring Type to a Call Coverage, Group Call Pickup, or line key:

1.	[Menu + Ring]	Select the Distinctive Ringing options.
1.	[Menu + MORE + Ring]	Select the Distinctive Ringing options.
	[Menu + MORE + Ring]

2.	[Key]	Select Key Ring Override.
2.	[Key]	Select Key Ring Override.
	[Key]

a.Select a key type to customize.

	[Call Coverage]	Select your Call Coverage keys.
	[Cck]	• Your Call Coverage keys light.

	[Pickup]	Select your Group Call Pickup keys.
	[Pkup]	• Your Group Call Pickup keys light.

	[Line]	Select your line keys.
	[Line]	• Your line keys light.

	[Exit]	Press repeatedly to back up step-by-step.
	[Exit]	Press repeatedly to back up step-by-step.
	[Exit]

b.Press the key for which you want to set the Ring Type.

c.Do one of the following.

For the key selected, choose the Ring Type.

•Dial 1 for Ring Type A.

i.• Dial 2 for Ring Type B.

•Dial 3 for Ring Type C.

•Dial 0 to Select to have ringing follow Line Override.

For the key selected, press the key repeatedly to choose the ringing mode.

•For line key night ring only (lamp only in the day):

-Press key until it ﬂashes slowly green.

-Not for Group Call Pickup or Call Coverage keys.

ii • For delay ring day and night:

-Press key until it ﬂashes fast green.

•For lamp only (no ring) day and night:

-Press key until it is on red.

•For immediate ring day and night: Press key until it is on green.

d.Press another key to program, or SPEAKER to exit.
