The rear of the system has the following external ports, connectors, jacks, and expansion slots.

!Keyboard port — attach a PS/2® -compatible (personal system/2-compatible) keyboard (101-key or 102-key) with a 6-pin mini DIN connector to this port.

!Mouse port — attach a PS/2-compatible mouse to this port.

!Printer port — attach a parallel printer with a 25-pin connector to this port.

!USB port — use the USB port to connect up to 127 USB configured peripheral devices such as a printer, monitor, modem, mouse, and scanner. A second USB port is on the front of the system.

!Serial ports — serial port 1 (COM1) and serial port 2 (COM2) allow connection of serial devices with 9-pin connectors. The devices include a pointing device, serial printer, or modem.
