Removing an R2MFC MBM from the expansion unit

Use this procedure to remove an R2MFC MBM from the BCM expansion unit.

Warning: Remove the R2MFC MBM after the system is powered down.

1Power-down the BCM expansion unit system (see “Shutting down the system” on page 32).

2Remove any cabling from the R2MFC MBM faceplate.

3Remove the expansion unit front bezel.

4Grasp the edge of the MBM ejector lever. Pull outward to eject the R2MFC MBM. Refer to Figure 13.
