Remote Controller—Continued

DVD Mode	 STANDBY button
	Sets the DVD player to Standby.
To set the remote controller to DVD mode, press the
	 ON button
[DVD] REMOTE MODE button.
	Turns on the DVD player.

 Number buttons

Used to enter title, chapter, and track numbers and times for locating specific points.

		 TOP MENU button
1		Selects a DVD’s top menu.
		 Arrow [	]/[	]/[	]/[	] and ENTER buttons
2		Used to navigate menus and select items.
		DISC +/– button
3		Selects discs on a DVD changer.
		SETUP button
		Used to access the DVD player’s settings.
		DISPLAY button
	bn	Displays information about the current disc, title,
		chapter, or track, including elapsed time, remaining
		time, total time, and so on.
	DVD	Playback buttons
		From left to right: Previous, Play, Next, Rewind,
4	bo	Pause, Stop, Fast Forward, Slow Reverse, and Slow
		Forward.
5		(1 REPEAT button
		Used with the repeat playback functions.
6		(2 AUDIO button
7	bp	Selects foreign language soundtracks and audio for-
		mats (e.g., Dolby Digital or DTS).
8		(3 OPEN/CLOSE [			] button
9		Opens and closes the disc tray.
		(4 CLEAR button
	bq	Cancels functions and clears entered numbers.
		(5 MENU button
		Displays a DVD’s menu.
bk	br	(6 RETURN button
		Exits the DVD player’s onscreen setup menus.
bl	bs
		(7 RANDOM button
bm		Used with the random playback function.
	bt	(8 PLAY MODE button
		Selects play modes on components with selectable
		play modes.
		(9 SUBTITLE button

Selects subtitles.

(: VIDEO OFF button

Turns off the internal video circuitry, eliminating any possibility of interference.
