CORCT/TRACK/DISP

Correction function (CORCT)

Track function (TRACK)

This function enables corrections to be made to edit data in an existing event (one whose edit data has already been stored in the memory) but not in a new event.

1 Press the CORCT ([SHIFT] + [5]) button.

The changed data is stored in the EDL memory.

2 When the edit OUT point of VTR2 (recorder) has been changed, a message (RIPPLE OK?) for verifying whether to go ahead with ripple processing appears.

If ripple processing is to be performed, press the ENTER button.

If not, press the C button.

3 To perform ripple processing, input the event to be executed next.

When ripple processing is to be performed for all the events subsequent to an event whose data has been changed, simply press the ENTER button.

To designate the events for which ripple processing is to be performed, input the numbers of the events using the numeric input buttons and the [ ] button.

This function is used to set the edit points of VTR1 (player) efficiently in response to a change made in an edit IN point of the VTR2 (recorder).

1 Change the edit IN point of the VTR2 (recorder).

2 Press the TRACK ([SHIFT] + [6]) button to establish the track mode.

O The colon (:) between the hours and minutes on the counter display shown on the monitor screen changes to a dot (.) to indicate that the track mode has been established.

O The time code (UB or CTL) indicated on the display tube flashes to indicate that the track mode has been established.

O The edit IN point of VTR1 (player) is automatically changed in a way that reflects the change which was made in step 1.

3 When an edit IN point of VTR2 (recorder) is changed while the track mode is established, the edit IN point of VTR1 (player) is also changed automatically in a way that reflects the VTR2 change.

4 The track mode is released when the edit IN point of VTR1 (player) is changed.

<Note>

Since the track mode is automatically established when ALL has been selected as the setup menu item No.313 (AUTO ENTRY) setting, there is no need to establish the track mode by pressing the TRACK ([SHIFT] + [6]) button.

Monitor display ON/OFF switching (DISP)

The status, operation mode and other information displays which are superimposed onto the monitor (liquid crystal monitor, VIDEO MONITOR output) can be switched from ON to OFF, or vice versa, by pressing the DISP ([SHIFT] + [0]) button.
