Changing the ring setting	To change the number of rings before the unit answers a call in FAX
in FAX ONLY mode	ONLY mode.

Setting the Caller ID list to	{0} “OFF” (default): The unit will not print the Caller ID list, but will
print automatically	keep records of the information for the last 30 callers.

	30 new calls (page 40).
Setting the recording	{1} “LETTER” (default): Letter size paper

Setting the waiting time	To set the length of time before the unit enters the power save mode.

	Note:
	L During the power save mode, the unit needs to preheat the fuser
	unit before printing.

Setting the default	To select the default operation mode when the selected time of the
operation mode	mode timer (feature #464) passes.

	{2} “FAX”: Fax mode is selected as default.
	Note:
	L You cannot select the scan mode using this feature.

Setting the default	To set the timer before returning to the default operation mode (feature
operation mode timer	#463).

	{1} “30s”: 30 seconds
	{2} “1min” (default): 1 minute
	{3} “2min”: 2 minutes
	{4} “5min”: 5 minutes
Setting toner save feature	{0} “OFF” (default): Deactivates this feature.
{#}{4}{8}{2}	{1} “ON”: The toner cartridge will last longer.
	Note:
	L This feature may lower the print quality by reducing toner
	consumption.
