Checking using [Device Manager]

Windows 98 / Windows Me

From the Start menu, select [Settings], then [Control Panel].

Select [System], then click on the [Device Manager] tab to bring up the window be- low which shows all devices connected.

CD-ROM/DVD-ROM/DVD-R part of this DVD-RAM/R drive is recognized.

“LF-D310” is displayed for the model number.

DVD-RAM disc part of this DVD-RAM/R drive is recognized.

“LF-D310” is displayed for the model number.

Double click “CD-ROM” and “Disk drives” and verify whether items and appear.

•If they fail to appear, refer to “Troubleshooting” on page 130.
