Storing and recallingbroadcast
frequencies
Youcan easily store up to six broadcast fre-
quenciesfor later recall.
!Upto 18 FM stations, six for each ofthe
threeFM bands, and six AM stations can
bestored in memory.
1 TouchLIST to display the preset list.
2 Whenyou find a frequency that you
wantto store in memory keep touching
oneof preset tuning keys P1 to P6 until the
beepsounds.
Theselected radio station frequency has been
storedin memory.
Thenext time you touch the same preset tun-
ingkey the radio station frequency is recalled
frommemory.
3 TouchESC to return to the ordinary dis-
play.

Youcan also use aand bto recall radio station
frequenciesassigned to preset tuning keys P1 to
P6.

1 TouchAV MENU and then touch
FUNCTIONMENU to display the function
names.
Thefunction names are displayed and oper-
ableones are highlighted.
2 TouchESC to return to the frequency
display.
#Toreturn to the previous display, touch BACK.
Storing the strongestbroadcastfrequencies
BSM(best stations memory) letsyou automa-
ticallystore the six strongest broadcast fre-
quenciesunder preset tuning keys P1 to P6
andonce stored there you can tune in to those
frequencieswith the touch of a key.
!Storingbroadcast frequencies with BSM
mayreplace broadcast frequencies you
havesaved using P1 to P6.
%TouchBSM on the function menu to
turnBSM on.
BSMbegins to flash. While BSM is flashing
thesix strongest broadcast frequencies will be
storedunder preset tuning keys P1 to P6 in
orderof their signal strength. When finished,
BSMstops flashing.
#Tocancel the storage process, touch BSM
again.
Tuningin strong signals
Localseek tuning lets you tune in only those
radiostations with sufficiently strong signals
forgood reception.
%TouchLOCAL on the function menu to
setthe sensitivity.
TouchLOCAL repeatedly until the desired level
ofsensitivity appears in the display.
Thereare four levels of sensitivity for FM and
twolevels for AM:
FM:OFFLEVEL1LEVEL2LEVEL3
LEVEL4
AM:OFFLEVEL1LEVEL2
TheLEVEL4 setting allows reception of only
thestrongest stations, while lower settings let
youreceive progressively weaker stations.
