DVD Player
Basic Operations
Youcan use this unit to control a DVD player or
multi-DVDplayer, which is sold separately.
Fordetails concerning operation, refer to the
DVDplayer s or multi-DVD players operation
manual.This section provides information on
DVDoperations with this unit which differs
fromthat described in the DVD player sor
multi-DVDplayer s operation manual.
!Thisunit does not have ITS playlist and disc
titlefunctions.

Showsthe number of the disc currently play-
ingwhen using a multi-DVD player.

Showsthe text information of disc currently
playingwhen playing a compressed audio
disc.
!Thisunit cannot display the text infor-
mationrecorded on a CD TEXT disc
playingon the optional DVD player.
1 Touchthe source icon and then touch
S-DVDto select the DVD player.
#Whenthe source icon is not displayed, you
candisplay it by touching the screen.
2 Touchthe screen to display the touch
panelkeys.
3 Toskip back or forward to another
chapter/track,briefly touch oor p.
#Youcan also skip back or forward toanother
chapter/trackby pressing or +(TRACK).
4 Toperform fast forward or reverse,
keeptouching oor p.
#Youcan also perform fast reverse/fast forward
bypressing and holding or +(TRACK).
Note
Ifyou do not use the touch panel keys within 30
seconds,they will be hidden automatically when
playingDVD video or Video CD.

Selecting a disc

!Youcan operate this function only when a
multi-DVDplayer is connected to this unit.
1 TouchLIST.
2 Touchyour favorite disc.
Selectablediscs are highlighted.
3 TouchESC to return to the ordinary dis-
play.
Note
Youcan also select a disc by keeping touching a
orb.

Selecting a folder

!Youcan operate this function only when a
DVDplayer compatible with compressed
audioplayback is connected to this unit.
%Touchaor bto select a folder.

Pausing disc playback

%Touchde during playback.
#Toresume playback at the same point that you
turnedpause on, touch de again.
