2 TouchESC to return to the telephone
standbydisplay.
#Toreturn to the previous display, touch BACK.
Connecting a cellular phone

Searchingfor available cellular phones

1 TouchPHONE CONNECT on the function
menu.
2 TouchSEARCH to search for available
cellularphones.
Whilesearching, SEARCHING flashes. When
availablecellular phones featuring Bluetooth
wirelesstechnology are found, device name or
NameNot Found (if names cannot be ob-
tained)is displayed.
#Ifthis unit fails to find any available cellular
phones,NOT FOUND is displayed.
#Youcan display the BD address by touching
BDADDR. To return to the device name, touch
PHONENAME.
3 Touchthe device name you want to
connect.
Whileconnecting, CONNECTING flashes. To
completethe connection, check the device
name(Pioneer BTunit2) and enter the link
codeon your cellular phone. If the connection
isestablished, CONNECTED is displayed.
#PINcode is set to 0000 as default. You can
changethis code in the initial setting. Refer to En-
teringPIN code for Bluetooth wireless connection
onpage 42.

Usinga cellular phone to initiate a

connection

1 TouchPHONE CONNECT on the function
menu.
2 TouchCONNECTION OPEN.
CONNECTIONWAITING flashes and the unit
isnow on standby for connection from a cellu-
larphone.
3 Usecellular phone to connect to this
unit.
#Tocancel this function, touch
CONNECTIONOPEN again.
#PINcode is set to 0000 as default. You can

Disconnecting a cellular phone
1 TouchPHONE CONNECT on the function
menu.
2 TouchDISCONNECT to disconnect the
currentlyconnected cellular phone from
thisunit.
Afterdisconnection is completed,
NOCONNECTION is displayed.
