Changingthe level

Youcan change the set parental lock level.
1 TouchNEXT on the DVD setup menu.
2 TouchPARENTAL.
3 Touch0 to 9 to input the registered
codenumber.
4 TouchENTER.
Thisenters the code number, and you can now
changethe level.
#Ifyou input an incorrect code number, the
icon isdisplayed. Touch Cand input the cor-
rectcode number.
#Ifyou forget your code number, refer to If you
forgetyour code number on this page.
5 Touchany of 1 to 8 to select the desired
level.
Thenew parental lock level is set.

Ifyou forget yourcode number

Referto Changing the level on this page, and
touchC10 times. The registered code number
iscanceled, letting you register a new one.
Setting the DivX subtitle file
Youcan select whether to display DivX exter-
nalsubtitles or not.
!TheDivX subtitles will be displayed even
whenCUSTOM is selected if no DivX exter-
nalsubtitle files exist.
1 TouchNEXT on the DVD setup menu.
2 TouchDivX SUB TITLE to select the de-
siredsubtitle setting.
!ORIGINALDisplay the DivX subtitles
!CUSTOMDisplay the DivX external subti-
tles

!Upto 42 characters can be displayed on one
line.If more than 42 characters are set, the
linebreaks and the characters are displayed
onthe next line.
!Upto 126 characters can be displayed on one
screen.If more then 126 characters are set,
theexcess characters will not be displayed.
Displaying your DivX®VODregistrationcode
Inorder to play DivX VOD (video on demand)
contenton this unit, you first need to register
theunit with your DivX VOD content provider.
Youdo this by generating a DivX VOD registra-
tioncode, which you submit to your provider.
1 TouchNEXT on the DVD setup menu.
2 TouchDivX VOD.
Your8-digit registration code is displayed.
!Makea note of the code as you will need it
whenyou register with a DivX VOD provider.
Setting for digital output
Audiowhich is outputted from digital output
ofthis unit can be selected. Normally, set to
STREAM.If this units digital output is not
used,there is no need to change settings.
!SelectingLinear PCM enables you to
switchthe output channel if playing the fol-
lowingtype of discs. (Refer to Selecting
audiooutput on page 28.)
