(variablebit rate) files, the play time will not be
correctlydisplayed if fast forward or reverse
operationsare used.
!Whenplaying back WMA files, album title list
doesnot appear.
!Ifthe characters recorded on the disc are not
compatiblewith this unit, those characters
willnot be displayed.

Switching the media file type
Whenplaying a disc containing a mixture of
variousmedia file types such as DivX and
MP3,you can switch between media file types
toplay.
!Thisunit allows playback of the following
mediafile type recorded on CD-R/RW/ROM
discs.
Audiodata (CD-DA)
Compressedaudio files (WMA/MP3/
AAC)
DivXvideo files
!Incase of DVD-R/RW/ROM, this unit does
notallow playback of audio data (CD-DA).

Operating the DVD menu
SomeDVDs allow you to select from the disc
contentsusing a menu.
!Thisfunction is available for DVD video.
!Youcan display the menu by touching
MENUor TOP MENU while a disc is play-
ing.Touching either of these keys again
letsyou start playback from the location se-
lectedfrom the menu. For details, refer to
theinstructions provided with the disc.

UsingDVD menu direct touch control

Thisfunction allows you to operate the DVD
menuby touching the menu item directly.
%Touchthe desired menu item on the
DVDmenu directly.
#Dependingon the contents of DVD discs, this
functionmay not work properly. In this case,
usingtouch panel keys operate the DVD menu.
