Whenthe phone book transfer is complete, the
connectionto your cellular phone is off. To use
thePhone Book, connect to your cellular phone
onceagain, referring to Connecting to a registered
cellularphone on the previous page.
Changingthe phone book display order
%TouchPHONE BOOK NAME VIEW on
thefunction menu to change the name
vieworder.
INVERTEDis displayed and the name view
orderis changed.
#Tochange to the original order (ORIGINAL),
touchPHONE BOOK NAME VIEW again.
Callinga number in the phone book
Important
Besure to park your vehicle and applythe park-
ingbrake when performing this operation.
1 TouchPHONE BOOK to display the
PhoneBook.
2 Touchaor bto select the first letter of
thename you are looking for.
Touchingaor bchanges alphabetical letters.
3 TouchENTER to show entries starting
withthe letter you chose.
Thedisplay shows the first six Phone Book en-
triesstarting with that letter (e.g. “Ben”,
“Brian”and“Burt”when “B”is selected).
#Touch or todisplay other phone book en-
tries.
#Torefine the search with a different letter,
touchCLEAR.
4 Toucha Phone Book entry you want to
call.
Thedisplay is switched to the Phone Book de-
taildisplay.
5 Touchphone number of the Phone
Bookentry you want to call.
Ifseveral phone numbers are entered to an
entry,touch one you want to call.
Thedisplay returns to the normal display and
thePhone Book entry you selected is dis-
playedon the information bar.
6 Touch tomake a call.
#Foran international call, touch add “+”to add
+tothe phone number.
7 Toend the call, touch .
Editingphone numbers
Important

Youcan edit the numbers of Phone Book en-
tries.Each phone number can be up to 24 di-
gitslong.
1 TouchPHONE BOOK to display the
PhoneBook.
2 Selecta Phone Book entry you want to
edit.

phonebook on this page for how to do this.
3 TouchEDIT next to the phone number
youwant to edit.
Thedisplay is changed to the Phone Book dial
editdisplay.
4 Touch0 to 9 to input numbers.
#Foran international call, touch add “+”to add
+tothe phone number.
#TouchCLEAR to delete the number. Touchand
holdCLEAR to delete all the input numbers.
5 TouchOK to store the new number.
