TV tuner
Basic Operations
Youcan use this unit to control a TV tuner (e.g.
GEX-P5700TV),which is sold separately.
Fordetails concerning operation, refer to the
TVtuner s operation manual. This section pro-
videsinformation onTV operations withthis
unit,which differs from that described in the
TVtuner s operation manual.

1 Touchthe source icon and then touch
TVto select the TV.
#Whenthe source icon is not displayed, you
candisplay it by touching the screen.
2 Touchthe screen to display the touch
panelkeys.
3 TouchBAND to select a band.
TouchBAND repeatedly until the desired band
isdisplayed, TV1 or TV2.
4 Toperform manual tuning, briefly
touchcor d.
#Youcan also perform manual tuning by press-
ingor +(TRACK).
5 Toperform seek tuning, keep touching
cordfor about one second and release.
Thetuner will scan the channels untila broad-
caststrong enough for good reception is
found.
#Youcan cancel seek tuning by briefly touching
eithercor d.
#Ifyou keep touching cor dyou can skip
broadcastingchannels. Seek tuning starts as
soonas you release the keys.
#Youcan also perform seek tuning by pressing
andholding or +(TRACK).
Note
Ifyou do not use the touch panel keys within 30
seconds,they will be hidden automatically.
Storing and recallingbroadcast
stations
Ifyou touch any of the preset tuning keys P01
toP12 you can easily store up to 12 broadcast
stationsfor later recall with the touch of a key.
!Upto 24 stations, 12 for each of two TV
bands,can be stored in memor y.
1 TouchLIST to display the preset list.
#Whenthe touch panel keys are not displayed,
youcan display them by touching the screen.
2 Whenyou find a station that you want
tostore in memory, keep touching one of
presettuning keys P01 to P12 until the
beepsounds.
Thenext time you touch the same preset tun-
ingkey the station is recalled from memory.
#Toswitch between P01 to P06 and P07 to P12,
touchPREV or NEXT.
3 TouchESC to return to the ordinary dis-
play.
Note
Youcan also use aand bto recall stations as-
signedto preset tuning keys P01 to P12.

Storing the strongestbroadcast

1 TouchAV MENU and then touch
FUNCTIONMENU to display the function
names.
