Eachtime MULTI-CONTROL is pushed up or
down,the background color changes. Youcan
selectthe background color fromamong 11
colors(including rainbow mode).
!Whenthe rainbow mode is selected, the
backgroundcolor continuously changes
throughall the colors.
5 PressMULTI-CONTROL to determine
thebackground display setting.
Thechoices you made on the color and the
backgrounddisplay are stored in memor y and
thedisplay reverts.
Rewriting theentertainment displays andthe icons for telephonefunctions
Youcan rewrite the entertainment displays
andthe icons for telephone functions. Please
createor download the data using your Com-
puter,and record it on CD-R. For details,

Important
Oncethe rewriting process has started, do not re-
movethe front panel or turn the ignition off, until
itis completed.
1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 Pressand hold EQ and LIST until the
unitgoes into download mode.
Frontpanel is opened automatically and then
Downloadand Insert disc is displayed.
#Ifa disc is loaded in the unit, it is ejected auto-
matically.
#Whenthe front panel is open, does not go into
downloadmode even if you press and hold EQ
andLIST.
3 Insertthe disc containing the rewritten
datainto the CD loading slot.
DownloadReady appears in the display, and
thendata rewriting will start automatically.
Nowloading is displayed during rewriting.
CDloading slot
4 AfterFinished is displayed, press EJECT
toeject the disc.
Downloadmode is exited and unit turns off.
Notes
!Donot insert anything other than a CD into
theCD loading slot.
!Itcan take several minutes to complete this
operation.
!Duringdownload mode, buttons other than
EJECTare inactive.
!Tocancel download mode, press EJECT.
