Repeating play
Thereare three repeat play ranges for the
multi-CDplayer: Multi-CD repeat (multi-CD
playerrepeat), Track repeat (one-track repeat)
andDisc repeat (disc repeat).
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Playmode in the function menu.
Playmode appears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the re-
peatrange.
PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly until the
desiredrepeat range appears in the display.
!Multi-CDrepeat –Repeat all discs in the
multi-CDplayer
!Trackrepeat –Repeat just the current
track
!Discrepeat –Repeat the current disc

!Ifyou select other discs during repeat play,
therepeat play range changes to
Multi-CDrepeat.
!Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring Track repeat, the repeat play
rangechanges to Disc repeat.
Playing tracks in random order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks in ran-
domorder within the repeat range,
Multi-CDrepeat and Disc repeat.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

Randommode in the function menu.
Randommode appears in the display.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn random
playon.
Trackswill play in a random order within the
previouslyselected Multi-CD repeat or
Discrepeat ranges.

Scanning CDs and tracks
Whileyou are using Disc repeat, the begin-
ningof each track on the selected discplays
forabout 10 seconds. When you are using
Multi-CDrepeat, the beginning of the first
trackof each disc is played for about10 sec-
onds.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

Scanmode in the function menu.
Scanmode appears in the display.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn scan play
on.
Thefirst 10 seconds of each trackof the cur-
rentdisc (or the first track of eachdisc) is
played.
4 Whenyou find the desired track (or
disc)press MULTI-CONTROL to turn scan
playoff.
Thetrack (or disc) will continue to play.
#Ifthe display has automatically returned to
theplayback display, select Scan mode again by
usingMULTI-CONTROL.
