Scanning folders and tracks
Whileyou are using Folder repeat, the begin-
ningof each track in the selected folder plays
forabout 10 seconds. When you are using
Discrepeat, the beginning of the first track of
eachfolder is played for about 10 seconds.
1 Selectthe repeat range.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Scanmode in the function menu.
Scanmode appears in the display.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn scan play
on.
Thefirst 10 seconds of each trackof the cur-
rentfolder (or the first track of each folder)is
played.
4 Whenyou find the desired track (or
folder)press MULTI-CONTROL to turn scan
playoff.
Thetrack (or folder) will continueto play.
#Ifthe display has automatically returned to
theplayback display, select Scan mode again by
usingMULTI-CONTROL.
Note
Aftertrack or folder scanning is finished, normal
playbackof the tracks will begin again.
Pausing MP3/WMA/AAC/WAVplayback
Pauselets you temporarily stop playback of
theMP3/WMA/AAC/WAV.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select Pause in
thefunction menu.
Pauseappears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn pause
on.
Playbackof the current track pauses.
#Toturn pause off, press MULTI-CONTROL
again.
Selecting the search method
Youcan switch the search method between
fastforward/reverse and searching every10
tracks.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Searchmode in the function menu.
Searchmode appears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the
searchmethod.
PressMULTI-CONTROL until the desired
searchmethod appears in the display.

Searching every 10 tracks inthe current folder
Ifthe current folder contains over 10tracks,
youcan search ever y 10 tracks. When one
foldercontains a lot of tracks, you can roughly
searchfor the track you want to play.
