Editing phone numbers
Youcan edit the phone numbers of Phone
Bookentries.
1 PressLIST to display the Phone Book.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to display the de-
tailedlist of your desired Phone Book
entry.
Seestep 2 to 5 on Calling a number in the
PhoneBook on page 43 for how to do this.
3 Pressand hold MULTI-CONTROL to dis-
playthe genre input screen.
Editgenre is displayed.
4 TurnMULTI-CONTROL clockwise or
counterclockwiseto switch to the number
inputscreen.
TurningMULTI-CONTROL switches input
screensin the following order:
Editgenre (genre input screen)—Edit name
(nameinput screen)—Edit number (number
inputscreen)—Edit icon (icon selection
screen)—Clearmemory (clear memor y
screen)
5 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
movethe cursor to the number you want
tochange.
6 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
changenumbers.
Repeatthese steps until you have finished
changing.
7 PressMULTI-CONTROL to store the new
number.
Afterthe number is stored, the display reverts
tothe detailed list.
Selecting the icon of a PhoneBook entry
Youcan select the icon of Phone Book entries.
Whenyou make a call or answer an incoming
call,that icon is displayed.
1 PressLIST to display the Phone Book.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to display the de-
tailedlist of your desired Phone Book
entry.

iconto the Phone Book entry.
Theselected icon is assigned to the Phone
Bookentry, and the display reverts to the de-
tailedlist.
