Youcan use this unit to control a separately
soldportable audio player featuring Bluetooth
wirelesstechnology (Bluetooth audio player).
Eventhough your audio player does not con-
taina Bluetooth module, you can still control
itfrom this unit via Bluetooth wireless technol-
ogyusing a Bluetooth adapter (sold sepa-
rately).
Important
!Thisunit can control a Bluetooth audio player
viaA2DP or AVRCP profile.Bluetooth audio
players(or Bluetooth adapters) compatible
withthose profiles can be connected to this
unit.
—A2DPprofile (Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile):Only playing back songs on your
audioplayer is possible.
—AVRCPprofile (Audio/Video Remote Con-
trolProfile): Playing back, pausing, select-
ingsongs, etc., are possible.
!Sincethere are a number of Bluetooth audio
playersavailable on the market, operations
withyour Bluetooth audio player using this
unitvary in great range. Please refer to the in-
structionmanual that came with your Blue-
toothaudio player as well as this manual
whileoperating your player on this unit.
!Informationabout songs (e.g. the elapsed
playingtime, song title, song index, etc.) can-
notbe displayed on this unit.
!Whileyou are listening to songs on your Blue-
toothaudio player, please refrain from operat-
ingon your cellular phone as much as
possible.If you try operating on yourcellular
phone,the signal from your cellular phone
maycause a noise on the song playback.
!Whenyou are talking on the cellular phone
connectedto this unit via Bluetooth wireless
technology,the song playback from your Blue-
toothaudio player connected to this unit is
muted.
!Evenif while you are listening to song on your
Bluetoothaudio player you switch to another
source,the playback of song continues to
elapse.

Showsthe Bluetooth wireless connection
status.
2Devicename
Showsthe device name of the connected
Bluetoothaudio player (or Bluetooth adap-
ter).
%PressSOURCE to select Bluetooth audio
player.
PressSOURCE until you see BT Audio dis-
played.
#Ifyou cannot display BT Audio, first activate
theBT audio sourcein the initialsetting. For de-
tailes,refer to Activating the BT Audio sourceon
page96.
