Making a phone call

Diala number

Themost basic way to make a call is to simply
dialthe number.
1 PressDIRECT on the remote control and
diala phone number by pressing 0–9.
2 PressJOYSTICK on the remote control
toconfirm the number.
3 PressOFF HOOK on the remote control
tocall the number.
#Youcan also dial a phone number in the func-
tionmenu.

Presetnumber

Numbersthat you dial frequently can be as-
signedto presets for quick recall.

howto assign a number to a preset.
1 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
selecta preset number.
Presetnumbers Dial preset 1–10 appear in
thedisplay.
#Youcan also recall preset numbers
Dialpreset 1–10 by pressing 0–9on the remote
control.
#Ifthe number is already in the Phone Book
thenthe name is also displayed.
#Nodata is displayed for preset numbers that
havenot been assigned.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to make a call.
#Youcan also perform this operation by press-
ingOFF HOOK on the remote control.

Voicerecognition

Ifyour cellular phone features voice recogni-
tiontechnology, you can make a call by voice
commands.
!Operationvaries depending on the type of
yourcellular phone. Refer to the instruction
manualthat came with your cellular phone
fordetailed instructions.
!Thisfunction can be operated only when
theconnection is established with HFP
(HandsFree Profile).
1 PressBAND and hold until Voice dial
appearsin the display.
Voicedial appears in the display. When
Voicedial ON is displayed, voice recognition
functionis now ready.
#Ifyour cellular phone does not feature voice
recognitionfunction, No voice dial appears in
thedisplay and opearation is not available.
2 Pronouncethe name of your contact.
