Showsthe function status.
1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
FUNCTION,AUDIOand ENTERTAINMENT
appearon the display.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
FUNCTION.
Turnto change the menu option; press to se-
lect.
Thefunction name appears on the display.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the
function.
TurnMULTI-CONTROL clockwise or counter-
clockwiseto switch between the functions in
thefollowing order:
Playmode (repeat play)Random mode
(randomplay)Scan mode (scan play)
Pause(pause)Search mode (search meth-
od)TitleInput (disc title input)Jacket art
(jacketart read)
#Toreturn to the playback display, press BAND.
Notes
!Whenplaying a CD TEXT disc, you cannot
switchto Title Input. The disc title will have
alreadybeen recorded on a CD TEXT disc.
!Whenplaying audio data (CD-DA), it is not ef-
fectiveeven if you turn Jacket art on. (Refer to
page32.)
!Ifyou do not operate the function within about
30seconds, the display is automatically re-
turnedto the playback display.
Repeating play
Thereare two repeat play ranges for the built-
inCD player: Disc repeat (disc repeat) and
Trackrepeat (one-track repeat).
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Playmode in the function menu.
Playmode appears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the re-
peatrange.
PressMULTI-CONTROL repeatedly until the
desiredrepeat range appears in the display.
!Discrepeat Repeat the current disc
!Trackrepeat Repeat just the current
track
Note
Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring Track repeat, the repeat play range
changesto Disc repeat.
Playing tracks in random order
Randomplay lets you play back tracks on the
CDin a random order.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Randommode in the function menu.
Randommode appears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn random
playon.
Trackswill play in a random order.
#Toturn random play off, press
MULTI-CONTROLagain.
