Usingthe initial settings, you can customize
varioussystem settings to achieve optimal per-
formancefrom this unit.
1Functiondisplay
Showsthe function status.
1 PressSOURCE and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL and hold until
Languageselect appears in the display.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select one of
theinitial settings.
TurnMULTI-CONTROL clockwise or counter-
clockwiseto switch between the functions in
thefollowing order:
Languageselect (language selection)—
Calendar(calendar)—Clock (clock)—
Warningtone (warning tone)—
Faceauto open (face auto open)—AUX1
(auxiliaryinput 1)—AUX2 (auxiliar y input 2)—
Dimmer(dimmer)—Brightness (brightness)
—DigitalATT (digital attenuator)—Mute
(soundmuting/attenuation)—Demonstration
(featuredemo)—Reverse mode (reverse

#Tocancel initial settings, press BAND.
Selecting the display language
Foryour convenience, this unit equips multi-
plelanguage display. You can select the lan-
guagebest suited to your firstlanguage.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Languageselect.
Languageselect appears in the display.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select the lan-
guage.
Eachpress of MULTI-CONTROL selects lan-
guagesin the following order:
English—Français—Español
Setting the date
Thecalender display adjusted in this mode ap-
pearswhen the telephone source is selected
orsources and the feature demo are off.
1 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
Calendar.
Calendarappears in the display.
2 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe segment of the calendar display
youwish to set.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL left or right will se-
lectone segment of the calendar display:
Day—Month—Year
Asyou select segments of the calendar dis-
playthe segment selected will blink.
