	Item	Description

15	Screen	Shows information about calls, messages, soft
		keys, time, date, and other relevant data.
		•	Caller display information—first party,
			second party, number of calls
		•	Information status line
			• Popup text (for example, network errors)
			• Do Not Disturb text
			• Missed call text or second incoming caller
			display
			• Prompt text (for example, “Enter
			number”)
			• Time and date text (if home screen is not
			used for time/date display)

		following table.

What Displays on the Screen?

Your phone displays information about calls, messages, soft keys, time, date, and other relevant data.

Important messages appear on the home screen through an animated scrolling list, which has precedence over the home screen. The following figure shows one such messages. The messages continuously scroll on the screen’s top line.

The background and key colors that appear on your SoundPoint IP 450 phone may differ from what appears in this user guide.
