Host stops responding or displays "printer not ready" message

Printed labels are cut off at the bottom
1.If every label printed by a given format is cut off at the bottom, the label may be too large for the available printer memory.
2.If just the first printed label is cut off at the bottom, the label stock may not have been properly positioned in the printer. The printer may print a partial label before it corrects the index position if the label stock was not manually indexed after installation. You can avoid this occurrence by pressing the FEED switch once to feed one label after you close the printer.
Note: Pressing the FEED switch while the Ready light glows green, will reprint any label not cleared from memory.
If none of the above solves your problem ...
If the printer still does not work after following the above procedures, you should suspect trouble with the installed firmware, nonvolatile RAM settings, or the main printed circuit board. In that event, we suggest performing a full printer calibration and test. Refer to this manual for instructions.
If this still does not resolve the problem, assume the main printed circuit board and label sensor module are defective. Replace both components and recalibrate.
