Managing Queues and Jobs
There are different queue types. The queue type specifies which
protocol is used to send the print data from the ISD300 to the
network printer. For further information; see: Types of Queues on
page 31.
Click Queues/Jobs in the main menu to open the Print Queues
page. The page displays a list of all queues with details; see Table
Parameter Information - Print Queues.

The Print Queues page offer a list of features for the management
of the print jobs and queues. These include:
- (Automatic) identification of all network printers
- Stopping and deleting print jobs
- Re-routing print jobs to alternative queues (e.g. when a printer
is not operational)
- Creating, modifying and deleting print queues
- Blocking print queues (e.g. when a printer is not operational)
- Creating balance queues
Parameter Description
Description String describing the queue or the connected
printer.
(String can be edited by clicking ’modify’.)
Location String describing the location of the
connected printer.
(String can be edited by clicking ’modify’.)
Host address IP address or host name of the connected
printer
State Indicates the status of the queue
Jobs Number of pending jobs
