| Queue Type | Description |
| LPD | The LPD queue sends print jobs to a network printer that |
| prints via the LPD protocol. When creating the queue, the |
| printer’s IP address or host name and the remote queue |
| name as remote device have to be specified. |
| IPP | The IPP queue sends print jobs to a network printer that |
| prints via IPP (Internet Printing Protocol). When creating |
| the queue, the device URI of the printer’s network card |
| has to be specified. (Example for SEH print servers: |
| ipp://host name/ipp/lp1) |
| USB printer | The USB printer queue sends print jobs to a printer that is |
| connected to one of the USB ports of the ISD300. When |
| creating the queue, you must specify the USB port to |
| which the printer is connected. |
| Search | Search network printer searches via SNMP for network |
| Network | printers. When creating the queue, you must specify the |
| Printer | IP address range to be searched through. |
| The ISD300 searches through this address range and |
| displays all detected network printers. By choosing one of |
| the detected network printers, the network printer will be |
| connected to the queue. |
| Depending on the network card of the printer, the printing |
| method (TCP/IP sockets, LPD, or IPP) will be selected |
| automatically. The creation of a queue via Search |
| Network Printer is identical to the creation of a queue |
| during the Quick Setup. |
