Printing methods

You can print to the ISD300 by several methods. They specify which protocol is used to send the print data from the client to the ISD300. Usually you define this, while setting up a printer on your client PC.

LPD Printing

Every queue created during the Quick Setup automatically supports LPD printing. The port name for the configuration of the client must be identical with the queue name on the ISD300.

Point & Print

Point and Print is a term that refers to the capability of allowing a user on a Windows client to create a connection to a remote printer without providing disks or other installation media. IPP Printing

Every queue created during Quick Setup automatically supports IPP printing. Please use the following syntax for the configuration of the client:

syntax: http://<IP address or host name of the ISD300>:631/printers/<queue name on the ISD300>

example: http://192.168.0.123:631/printers/MY_QUEUE
