Paper and ink handling tips

■Keep the media supplies, trays, and ink in covered containers. Dust and dirt can be transferred to the paper, resulting in poor print quality.

■To avoid having the paper stick together, gently fan the media before loading it into the media tray.

■Paper that has been sitting out of its sealed wrapper can become distorted, causing paper jams. Keep paper sealed until you are ready to use it for printing.

■Do not use paper that has been creased or wrinkled.

■Some thinner grades of paper may curl and cause media feeding problems. Always load curled paper concave-side down in the media tray.
