Installing GA-1040 software

The User Software CD includes a software installer for Fiery Link. Fiery utility software is supported on Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000, and must be separately installed on each user’s computer.

Command WorkStation software (available as an option) is provided on a separate CD and is supported with Windows 95/98/Me, Windows NT 4.0, and Windows 2000. It should be installed only on workstations that are designated for Command WorkStation use.

The AGFA Monotype Font Manager 2000 software allows you to install, uninstall, preview, sort, and create font groups. This software program is accessible from the GA-1040 printer drivers but must be purchased separately. For installation information, follow the install procedures on the AGFA Installer CD. Refer to the included online help for detailed information on how to use it.
