Installing the battery pack
To install a battery pack, follow the steps below.
The battery pack is a lithium ion battery, which can explode if not properly replaced, used, handled or disposed of. Dispose of the battery as required by local ordinances or regulations. Use only batteries recommended by TOSHIBA as replacements.
1.Turn the computer's power off.
2.Disconnect all cables connected to the computer.
3.Hold the battery pack so that the label faces down and the positioning lugs on the battery face the positioning holes on the computer.
Incorrect positioning of the battery may result in damage to your computer.
4.Gently press the battery into the battery bay until the latch clicks into place.
5.Ensure the battery pack lock is moved into its locked position.
