Remove the 2 s crews that hold the handle bracket to the
door.
Mov e hinge to the other side and reattach with the 4 screws
removed in Step 2.
Mov e handle bracket to the other side and reattach with the
2 screw s rem oved in Step 3.
Set the in ner door assembly aside.

Check for fingerprints on the glass. Clean the glass if
necessary.
Place the inner door assembly into the outer door assembly.
Align the hing e in the ope ning on the side. To fit correctly, the
inside door assembl y edge is completely inside the outside
door assembly edge.
Reassemble the inner and outer door assemblies wit h the
6 screw s.
Replace the 2 handle screws for the door handle of the door
assembly.
Remo ve the p lug strip or label.
Use a small flat-blade screwd river to remove the p lug
strip in the doo r opening. Slide the head of the
screwdriver under t he top portion of the plug strip, being
certain not to scratch the dryer surface. Lift up. Repeat in
the middle and at the bottom. R emove the plug strip in
the door opening and insert in the opposite side.
Peel of f the label loca ted on the op posite side of the door
opening covering the hinge mounting holes. Apply the
label over the original hinge holes.
Insert a screw in th e second opening fr om the top of the
hinge opening and pa rtially tighten. H ang the door b y plac ing
the top hinge keyhole over the second scr ew head and
tighten the screw. By putting this scr ew in first, the door will
hang in place while you insert and tighten the remaining
4 screws.
Close th e door and check that it latches securely.

Check tha t all parts are now ins talled. If th ere is an e xtra part,
go back through the steps to see which step was s kipped.
Check that you have all of your tools.
Dispose of/recy cle all packaging materials.
Check the dryer’s Final location. Be sure the vent is not
crushed or kinked.
Check that the dryer is level. See Level Dryer.
For power supply cord installation, plug into a grounded
outlet. For direct wire installatio n, turn on power.
Plug into a grounded 4 prong ou tlet. Turn on power.
Remove any protective film or tape remaining on the dryer.
Read Dryer Use.
Wipe the dryer drum interior thoroughly with a damp cloth to
remove any dust.
Set the dryer on a f ull heat cycl e (not an air cycle) for
20 minutes and start the dryer.
Control s ar e set in a running or “On” position.
Start butto n has been pushe d fi rmly.
Dryer is plugged into a grounded outlet and/or electrical
s upply is on.
Hous eho ld fuse is in tact a nd tight, or circuit breaker has
not tripped.
Dryer door is cl osed.
