Sequential polling

To perform sequential polling of a document from any remote fax machine:

1 Make sure that the document is ready to be polled from the remote fax. The remote fax user may need to review his / her instructions.

When it performs the polling command, your machine will dial the number and, upon making contact with the other machine, begin receiving the document as if the other machine had placed the call.
