Contrast
Setting the contrast allows you to compensate for any excessive lightness or dark- ness in the documents you send or copy.
You have three choices:
•Normal — Suited to most documents.
•Light — Lightens up overly dark, “muddy” original documents.
•Dark — Darkens weak,
Note: To avoid confusion, remember that the LIGHT contrast setting lightens and DARK contrast setting darkens.

Changing the pause length
The pause is set by the factory to last five seconds, but you can set it to last as long as ten seconds if necessary. If you find the

3 Use the numeric keypad to enter the length you want for the dialing pause. You can choose between five and 10 seconds.
