Setting the temperature (see table)
-Stand the iron on its end.
-Set the temperature control (A) to the correct ironing temperature (fig. 4).
-Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
-After the amber temperature pilot light (I) first has gone out and has come on again, you may start ironing.
•For type HI 342 (“Auto off” version) only: if the appliance is left motionless for a while, it will switch off automatically and the red pilot light (O) will start to blink. Pick up the iron or move it lightly when this occurs. Refer to paragraph “Auto off” for details.
