While the LED on the FDD lights or blinks, be certain not to remove the floppy disk from the entrance. Otherwise, the FDD, floppy disk, and/or controller may be damaged.
The cold start operation is now complete.
2.1.2Hot Starting
While programs and data necessary to operate the controller are stored in memory of the controller, the controller can be started up directly without performing the cold start operation, which is called the “hot start”. Once the cold start operation has been conducted, unless any fault occurs in the robot system, it is not necessary to conduct the cold start operation again.
!Caution
If an abnormality has generated or the POWER LED lamp on the control panel remains off after the main power switch of the controller was turned on, turn off the main power immediately and confirm the wiring. Otherwise, you will be struck by an electric shock or a fire will break out.
When hot starting has been done, the controller enters a program reset status.
Conduct the hot start operation in the following manner.
(1) Turn on the MAIN POWER switch on the control panel.
Turn on the MAIN POWER switch on the control panel. When the MAIN POWER is turned on, the "POWER LED" on the control panel will light up.
