SAFETY INFORMATION
•The water purifier is installed on the cold water pipe, and consequently only the cold water is purified. Note that the hot water is not treated.
•Check that the water you want to purify meets the require- ments specified in “Technical data”.
•A pulsating water flow from the water purifier means that the purifier is in standby or that the UV lamp is heating up. Do NOT drink this water.
•Do not attempt to modify or alter the water purifier in any way at all. This could result in personal injury and/or damage to property. These eventualities are not covered by any warranty.
•The water purifier has a switch that disconnects the purifier from electricity when top cover is removed. Do not try to disconnect or shut off this switch when the top cover is removed. This could result in personal injury and is not covered by any warranty.
•If the water purifier is not going to be used and exposed for temperatures below 0°C the water purifier has to be stored, see section “Store the water purifier”.
•Once a month connections should be checked for leakages.
•In tanks containing standing water there is a risk of bacter- ial growth. If any changes in taste or smell are detected, use the
Child safety
•Do not let children play with the water purifier.
•Never leave packaging material lying around so that chil- dren can play with it.
Installation and service
•The water purifier must be preceded by a safety switch where the + terminal is disconnected. The disconnection distance is at least 3 mm.
•The system (tank and hoses) has to be disinfected before the water purifier is installed, see section “Disinfection”.
•It is important that the purifier is installed standing upright or wall mounted (vertical), horizontal in relation to the floor. This is to ensure that drainage and leakage indication function correctly.
•The purifier must be installed in a location that does not freeze. The temperature when in use must not fall below +2°C. Also avoid hot locations and direct sunlight.
•The water purifier must be placed close to the drinking- water tap and installed in the cold water pipe with short hoses (< 2 m). Long pure water hoses increase the risk of bacterial growth and should not be used.
•The water pump must be connected to the water purifier; otherwise the purifier will not work correctly.
•Ensure that hoses and wires do not become kinked or dam- aged when the water purifier is installed or moved.
•Use only genuine spare parts. See “Consumable parts”.
•A damaged water purifier must be disconnected.
Use
•The water purifier is designed to produce enough water required for a normal household in mobile homes.
•The water purifier must never be operated without the filter, except during the disinfection and descaling procedures.
•If the water purifier contains descaling agents, it must be flushed before pure water may be used.
•The system (tank, hoses and water purifier) must be disin- fected regularly.
•At the end of the water purifier’s useful life, disconnect the power to the water purifier using the safety switch in the central electrical unit. Disconnect the electrical wires from the water purifier. Carefully insulate the wires. Make sure that children cannot play with the wires.
