Setting the Timer
The power can be set to turn on and off every day at the same time in any of five modes: tuner, CD, cassette deck, MD player and air check (recording from the radio). (Preset the AM or FM station beforehand.)

If the mark is displayed after the TIMER button is pressed, the timer will operate at the same times every day. To
turn the timer off, press the TIMER button again to turn the mark off.
NOTE:
The standby mark (” “) will not light if the current time is not set. If this is the case, set the current time, then press the TIMER button.
