SerialPort Identifiesthe port that Palm Desktop software

uses to communicate with the cradle. This

selectionshould match the number of the port

to which you connected the cradle.

Note: Yourhandheld computer cannot share

this port with an internal modem or

otherd evice. See“TRGpro

components” in Chapter 1 if you have

trouble identifying the serial port.

Speed Determines the speed at which data is

transferredbetween your handheld computer

andPalm Desktop software. Try the As Fast

AsP ossible rate first, and adjust downward if

you experience problems. This setting allows

PalmDesktop software and your handheld

computer to find and use the fastest speed.
