Resetting your handheld computer
Undernormal circumstances, you will not have to use the reset
button.On rare occasions, however, your handheld computer may no
longer respond to buttons or the screen. In this case, you need to
perform a reset to get your handheld computer running again.

Performing a soft reset

Asoft res et tells your handheld computer to stop what it’s doing and
startover agai n.All recordsand entries stored in y ourh andheld
computerare retained with a softreset. After a soft reset, the Welcome
screenappears, followed by the General Preferences screen (to set
timeand date).
Toperform a soft reset:
Uset he reset tip tool, or the tip of an unfolded paper clip (or
similar object without a sharp tip), to gently press the reset button
inside the hole on the back panel of your handheld computer.
Tip: Some handheld computers include a metal and plastic stylus
witha reset tip inside. To use it, unscrew the metal barrel from
the stylus quill.
